2015年2月にリリースされた安田寿之5thアルバム「Nameless God's Blue」は、ロボットが歌うブラジル音楽」「全曲モノラルのコンピレーション」「世界の童謡の電子音楽カバー」など、これまで強いコンセプトの元制作してきたスタンスを変え、主観を軸に生歌・ピアノを中心にした生楽器を用いシンガー・ソングライターのような楽曲をイージーリスニングやジャズのような雰囲気でアレンジした雄編であった。ドリーミィーなメロディーとピアノ、リラックスしつつも力強いドラム・ベース・ギター、息づくような弦楽器、煌びやかな鉄琴楽器が混じり合うLaid Back Musicは、人気を博した。
その中から、J-Wave Tokio 100でも6週にわたりエントリーした「La pesanteur」のシングル映像作品。ダンサーに京都のコンテンポラリーダンス界で活躍する木村英一、ディレクションにYMO、高橋幸宏、スティーブ・ジャンセンなどのMVやライブ映像なども制作してきた伊瀬聖子を迎え、「今までの自分では捉えられない程、美しく新しい世界が開ける」という曲のテーマを表現している。
Nameless God's Blue is Toshiyuki Yasuda's 5th solo album, released in February 2015. Apart from continuous elaborated concepts such as 'Brazilian music sung by a fictitious robot' or 'all monophonic compilation album' or 'electronic covers of world's children's songs', the album was comprised of the subjectivity, specifically consists of compositions of singer-songwriter feel and arrangements of easy-listening and jazz style, which should be bracing and profound masterpieces. The music itself was a laid-back music with dreamy vocals and piano, relaxed but mighty drums, bass and guitar, vibrant viola and noble glockenspiels.
This is a single movie release of 'La pesanteur' which appeared through 6 weeks on J-Wave's (a major radio station in Tokyo) chart, cut from the album. The movie is directed by Shoko Ise who has worked for music videos and live movies of YMO, Yukihiro Takahashi, Steve Jansen and etc, in which a contemporary dancer in Kyoto Eiichi Kimura is featured. The theme of the song 'The new beautiful world opens which can not be perceived by an old myself' appears in it.
