2025年5月にリリースされたマサエノマド2作目アルバム「生活音」より、「Home」の安田寿之リミックス。原曲のブルースやフォークの雰囲気からフェルトピアノやストリングスを中心したシネマティックな方向に広がりながら、素朴で美しいメロディは存分に活かされている。
「なんでもない月曜日 君は静かに出て行った」「帰っておいで この歌が聞こえるかな」という歌詞は、生まれてこなかった子供に歌われたものである。お盆に彼方者が帰る場所としてのHomeを詠む。
原曲のギターと歌の弾き語りからの歌だけの分離、元ジャケットから家の部分を使ったリミックスジャケットなど、今を時めくAIも駆使している。
This is a remix of "Home" by Toshiyuki Yasuda from Masaenomad's second album, "Domestic Sounds" released in May 2025. The original's blues and folk atmosphere has been expanded into a more cinematic direction centered around felt piano and strings, while still making full use of the simple and beautiful melody.
The lyrics were sung to a child who was never born. The poem describes home as a place where those who have passed away can return during Obon, an ancient Japanese belief in ancestral spirits and a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the spirits of one's ancestors.
The single also makes use of the latest AI technology, such as separating the vocals from the original guitar and vocal accompaniment, and creating a remix jacket using the house part from the original jacket.
